admiral bakelite television

does anyone have or know where i can find an admiral bakelite floor model tv. i havent been able to find one anywhere. thanks a lot

I have a bakelite Admiral console. It is not the earliest style though, it uses a 12" round tube and a single chassis.

you missed a nice one on ebay this afternoon , it sold for 36.00 and they would even ship worldwide ,if I had known it was going to sell that cheap I would have bid on it myself .
Did any AK members get this set ?
I think it was a 1950 .

One turned up recently at a local auction. I went and checked it out even though I already have one-well, if it went real cheap, why not grab it? Unfortunately, the guys who worked at the sale were clumsy and busted the end off the crt. The glass wasn't broke but it wasn't pretty. So, I passed. Weeks later I spotted the same set in a local antique mall. Nothing had been done to it. Price tag $250!

Yes i got it! Am picking it up tomorrow. A long drive from S Illinois to Cincinnati though!
