Unhappy osc coil

While I am trying to get info on my first tv I decided to try another only to find that it has a bad osc coil.It is corroded and beyond repair. Is it possible to get another? it is a crosley S11-459MU (sams set153 folder 3 date 12-51) Thanks, Doug

Hi Doug, are you talking about the horiz coil?
Moyers might have one if you can get a part number from the Sams, maybe it's generic enough that one from another set might work also?

Thank you, It is the horizontal osc. Well, I tried a search for moyers on my computer and all it pulls up is stories about Bill moyers, Do you have a phone # or what did I do wrong on my search?

Thank you, I did find moyers site and put in a request for my part. Keep in mind I am new to television, It is the sweep transformer I need.I stated what I needed before I looked at the diagram. It looks like a big coil and that is why I thought it was a coil. It does not look like any transformer I have seen.

Sounds like you're talking about the flyback transformer?
Does it look sort of like like a donut?

transformer

Well, I guess it does look like a donut. It has about 9 taps and a couple different sections. I called it a sweep Trans. because that is what the diagram has it listed as.
