Try to find a set of the big black Rider Television Manuals. I have Vol's 1-13 and would be lost without them. That covers most early TV schematics and set-up notes from a few RCA pre-wars to all the post war sets from '46 through about '53-'54. These can be found on ebay. Usually $10-$20 per volume but sometimes a whole set becomes available for a good deal. The problem is they are huge and heavy. Shipping gets expensive unless you can pick them up.
