Whew, glad somebody is gonna save it! I kept thinking about this set but space limits would keep me from giving it a proper home. This is going to be a great first color set for you. 70 miles isn't too bad, just not as easy as when gas was under two bucks. (more like 100 miles for me) I have an idea the diode issue won't be so bad.
