Yesterday, I was looking thru the manual that came with my "Dandy-Dapter" crt tester adapter. There was an extra sheet in there that appeared to be an updated list dated 1983. I was surprised to see there was actually a listing for the 22EP22 tube. It showed the pin-out being the same as the roundie tubes.
Edit: Got a scan of the page. I'm surprised they didn't just do away with the 22ep22 listing being that it was such a big flop from the beginning.
