tube tv sets not missed

I don't miss tube tv sets, they were very unreliable. The wood cabinets made a fine addition to furniture collections.
I still don't have a VCR, cell-phone, or a DVD player. I threw out all the TV sets in the house except for a ctc10/11 because some guy says he wants it.
Maybe if tv programming improved I might watch it.
watching shows where every ding bat teen girl with multiple problems calling on a cell phone every 5 minutes in a new car that no one knows who paid for it seems like a waste of time.
Teen girls when I grew up were not talking on the phone for hours at night, they were screwing black dudes, getting drugs, and taking showers with kerosene.
Some guy showed up last week from AT&T selling some thing called universe, he said it replaces the phone, dsl, cable. I asked him how much it costs, he said $150 a month. I told him my grocery bill was less than that, and I don't watch TV. He looked at me like I was a nut. I was offended. I should have knocked his lights out.
