Test patterns

any links to down loadable videos, GRIDs, BARS etc.. I found some stuff on you tube but a lot of it was pretty poor quality. I want to work on convergence and linearity.

Nokia made some wonderful monitor Test software(Freeware!). If you can port it out as 640x480 via a video card to your set, it'll work. The only machine I have that can do that is an old IBM from the early Pentium days that takes about 5 minutes to boot up. Sync is rock solid.

I've not used it for a while - I have a VA62 and about 5 or 6 working bar-dot generators, including my DIY one from this EDN magazine article.

Cheers,

I've used some images found here, copied to a CD-R, and played back in a DVD player which supports JPEG playback. I can't remember what exactly was on the CD, but I know it had a grid, red, green, blue, and white images, and a dot pattern. Worked pretty well for a low-buck approach.
