Thanks to all who commented, offered advice, and information regarding this set. You guys can be a tough crowd!!

I've been in contact with the selling agent and made a deal to purchase the set for $75. Attached is another photo the seller sent to me of this set. It's now possible to see the RCA Victor name tag on the upper plate, and the New Vista next to the COLOR tag under the screen. Does the tuning knob look correct? It almost appears that something may be missing?

I'm going to pick up the set in about a week. I'll be checking the crt at that time, and if it's DOA I may reconsider the purchase.

Thanks again and I'll post some additional pictures when it arrives here in NJ at it's new home.

PS (They also have an early Philco console TV for sale. It's kind of pricey. They have it listed at $300, but said they would take $200. Still sounds quite high to me. If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll give you the contact information. It's located in the Philadelphia, PA area.)
