questions about Motorola Fiberjet tvs

Hi,I am new to this forum, and was wondering if anyone here could give me more information on Motorolas Fiberglass series of television sets?

When were they made, what colors were they available in,how many inches were the screens?

If anyone could post some ad pics or actual photos that would be great!

There is a photo of one from the front in an older thread and I was wondering what the side looks like.
It appears there is a "fin" or raised line that runs down the side!

I want one of these, they look very futuristic!

I'm not familiar with those, but it sounds interesting. Based on the other post, I think I've seen that Motorola cabinet style, but assumed it was steel covered in a fiberglass-look coating. I've seen lots of steel-cased and Bakelite-cased Motorolas, but I don't recall ever seeing any TV of fiberglass-constructed cabinets that I recognized as such.

Hi Charles,
Yes,I agree they do look interesting!
If you run across another please let me know!
I would definetly come and buy it!

I love the futuristic designs of the late '50's and early 60's.
Fiberglass was considered a space age wonder material at the time, and they made everything from cars to lamps to luggage to Tvs from it!

Hopefully someone here will have more info to offer about them.
