Philco 41-608 BOL in Libertyville, IL

Philco 41-608 with the Beam of Light pickup. Says it has the record cutter unit too.

oops. Not sure how I misread that. Still, IL is way too far away also.

I wasn't aware of any BOL changers that had an optional recording head. Perhaps he has an extra arm with a standard crystal cartridge, as most BOL changers were converted to after everyone heard how awful these sounded.

edit: It looks like it DID have the recording unit, but it is now missing. Check out the pictures at the bottom of this ARF post:

So the recording arm is missing, along with that red/green switch assembly.

I've wanted a BOL changer for a while, but not the consoles that go with them. At Kutztown, I again saw the same dealer who has been bringing the same BOL changer for years now. It is very barn fresh, and evidently a little overpriced.

I've got a different model BOL that has the cutter as well. The only part that works right now is the audio amp. At some point I'll get to completeing the restoration, but I think I'll miss useing it as the head board on my bed( there was not any where else to put it).
