They actually came quite close to getting good convergence and color before the Westinghouse used to drive the prototype CRT went south.

Since the CBS system was the only previously approved color system when the prototype was built, I inserted a picture taken from the color bars on Cliff's B&W RCA color wheel conversion for comparison.

The two shots were photographed with in ten minutes of each other and shot under the same room light. Neither photo was color corrected.

We never used the Westy to power the proto tube, but we did go through every other CT-100 chassis at the museum before putting Bob's chassis into the Model 5 cabinet. Even then it was an uphill battle, I'm surprized you got a shot that looks that good. Most of the time it was worse.
