P.S. One more thing you had wrong. The plug is two-pronged ungrounded. What you see is the plug for the power strip I have behind the cabinet.

Nice ! I thought the screen looked curved...What color set did you use for the conversion? Did you have to trim the bezel plastic to make it fit? Attached is a pix showing the original 17AP4. Wanna do another?

Yeah, nice job. And nothings been done that can't be changed back.

I'd leave it the way it is. Neatest color set in town, I bet.

It was a Zenith set. It is fun, and as best as can be done with a process like this, I think it delivers the experience. Especially with B&W programs.

The Philco 50T that you see in my avatar ... I have seriously considered doing the same thing.
The Philco has a dead 16AP4 and the chances of finding a replacement are really slim.
