Great pick up today!!!

I saw this locomotive 805 for sale on ebay a few days ago, and it was in stamford connecticut, only a short drive from me. He took it down and contacted me and I was able to pick it up for 60 bucks! the cabinet is in amazing condition, not even any chips anywhere, and I was so gentle transporting it home (what a nerve-wracking ride lol). the only thing it is missing is the power cord, but I hope to have this be my first restoration project with a lot of patience, and a LOT of learning before I even dive in. can't wait to nag all of you seasoned vets with questions, and I hope to bring this beauty back to life. As you already know, I purchased the other locomotive 800 on ebay that will hopefully arrive in one piece, so I'm attempting to put together quite a nice collection of bakelites. Ive wanted one of these for years, and I think they really are beautiful in person. this one truly is as good as it gets cosmetic condition wise. glad to share with you guys
Bryan

Congratulations! Great to see one in such very good, if not better, condition. Only had one locomotive that was a wreck when I was a kid. Parts are still in some of my other sets.

Beautiful and most interesting looking set. It might be what I call a working original, but be careful with that thought and bring it up slow if you even attempt powering it up. Good luck and congrats!
