I would avoid Samsung and Sony due to possible screen failure after a few years. Avoid Sanyo like the plague. Parts are almost impossible to find after the warranty runs out. LG is pretty decent, Vizio is not too bad. Sharp is OK Hard to find ones with composite anymore. Get an extended warranty.
