Bought the VHS version when I worked @ Disney Studio in the 80's. Also managed to acquire the original NBC peacock opening to this show which includes RCA commercial. A perfect marriage between Disney & NBC/RCA. Certainly, along w/Bonanza, jump started color tv sales.

Thanks for posting!

This might sound crazy, but I still hold something of a grudge toward 60 Minutes for ruining a bit of my childhood. As kids, my sister and I loved watching Disney and got to see it almost every week. My dad however, always watched 60 Minutes. When CBS moved it opposite Disney, we were out of luck.

Steve,

Only a visionary like Walt Disney would make the bold step to call his program the wonderful world of color. Which put the whole question of color television front and center before the public. I bought my first color set during the early run of that show.

The one and only Paul Frees voices Ludwig Von Drake! This was pretty funny,especially the take off on Elvis. Thanks for posting.

I see Amazon still offers the VHS of this episode. I have never seen it offered in DVD. http://www.amazon.com/Wonderful-Disn.../dp/B000BY3X4A. I have no connection w/Amazon.
