Whilst it may fit, they dont appear to be original. EMI appeared to use the same domes as marconi.
However it is common that a lot of the english cameras used car tail lamp covers, as with the PYE MKIII and the english number plate lettering and camera numbers. RCA however appears to have used custom moulds which despite searching endlessly there is not yet anything close enough as a substitute. |

DOT Lens
DOT stands for "Department of Transportation". On vehicles all tail light lenses and other lights have to pass a DOT spec. Apparently RCA and perhaps other camera manufacturers were using automobile lenses which makes sense as they were commercially available and to make a special red lens would cost much more to make than just buying a off the shelf lamp lens.

I've researched this over the last year or two - the tally domes on the TK60 and TK45 can be confirmed as not being simply car lenses, as with some of the PYE and english cameras.
The TK60 actually used at least two different types of tally dome mountings, one fits onto a base with like a spring arrangement, another uses a thread from the top to clamp it in place like the tk45 does, this hole and arrangement in unique to RCA. |
