Historical FM stereo broadcasting documents
Hello All, it's been a while since i've posted.
I have a dilemma, for the past 20 years i have had in my possession 2 old documents concerning the invention of FM multiplex "stereo" broadcast standard. they are printed by Zenith Electronics and were handed out at a NAB convention circa 1960/61. The Titles are; Before the Federal Communications Commission Docket No 12517 In the matter of: Inquiry into the ammendment of parts 2,3 and 4 of the commissions rules and regulation and the standards of good engineering practices concerning fm broadcast stations to permit to engage in non-broadcast activities on a multiplex basis, March 15 1960 52 pages and the 2nd is docket no 13506 Comments on Stereophonic multiplex FM broadcasting oct 28 1960 114 pages these docs were in a plastic sprial bound binding but that has long decayed Long story short would these be valuable to someone or should i file them in the round file. they are both in poor condition water stains etc. I got them back in 1995 when i helped clean out a old radio station in Sarasota FL WQSA these have been bounceing around in my storage bldg for long enough. I was wondering if i should post this in the classified section? thanks Logan |

Please scan them and PM me for an email address. They need to be scanned and posted for the knowledge base.

I'd gladly pay shipping + something (hows 5-10$ sound?) to make it worth your time to keep those out of the round file (and put them in my hands).
BTW:The second one is exactly 31 years older than me.

I've replied to your PM.
If I get it then I may be able to scan it for interested parties and maybe post it here if the files are small enough to attach.
