Wico (wye-co) made many of the joysticks (and other controls) used in the arcades. They were good stuff that just *never* broke. They were also made in America.

I hated the cheap Atari 2600 style sticks commodore sold which used those stupid steel spring buttons against a circuit board. If the switches didn't fail, the white inner stick/contact pusher failed. The real Atari ones were no better...
