Cant speak for monitors but no MGA consumer sets had trinitrons. IIRC
they used to call the blue screened MGA's Diamondvision. Those were
the BEST MGA's from the late 70's to mid 80's. The newer they got the
more average they became. Sony did label some monitors for Mac & probably
others. The only other tube that was up to the Trinies was the 14" Zenith
FTM's But they were a $2000 in the day.

STORY TIME Someone took in a 27" Sharp. When we write them up we
would just glance at the set & knew the brand. I grabbed it & noticed it was an MGA. SURPRISE !!! Replaced the on/off relay, that blue square one.
Used the Sharp part. By law all old parts have to go to the customer
(except CRT's, modules etc.). When the customer found out his expensive
MGA was 100% Sharp he blew a gasket.
