Wrong. The exploded cap shown in the 1st and 2nd pictures of post 162 is clearly a paper dielectric cap. They are in the same molded Bakelite case style most micas use, but are paper dielectric caps....most original mica encapsulation style capacitors .001uF and higher are actually paper dielectric and contain NO mica whatsoever. It is good practice to change any mica style capacitor over 1000pF(=.001uF)... Also line bypass caps like those are both at high risk of failure due to being delivered AC every second the set is plugged in to a live outlet, and somewhat unnecessary. Line bypass caps only filter small RF noise on the line and unless you are on a particularly noisy utility circuit you could snip them out and not notice a difference in performance of the set. Those caps should always be be snipped out or replaced unless the tech working on the set is repairing it for themselves and is okay with risking their own property.
