For years, when my nephews were young, we went to a festival in Grand Ledge, MI every year. People would display their exhibits on an island in the Grand River.
Several groups displayed farm engines at these events. They basically did everything electric motors on farms and in factories did - but used gasoline, because many farms had not yet been electrified. Many of these engines were Fairbanks-Morse. An arm lifting a weight seems like a silly logo on a TV set, but I guess it has circuitry for the vertical hold. |

Sometimes interesting vintage electronics will show up at those too.

Also there's an Admiral chassis 20A2 in Sams 256-2 that appears identical to your chassis.

One would have to assume this TV is likely pretty close to the "End of the Line" for these Bad Boys.... I THINK I've seen a couple-MAYBE- of F/M "Hit & Miss" single cylinder motors, & perhaps, an odd pump or some such, but NEVER anything like a TV... I DO know that the "Sput-Sput-Sput-POW !" bunch is every bit as Nutso about their motors as WE are about our radios & TVs...

Could have been a marketing ploy to coax a bunch of old farmers into buying a new-fangled tv set....
