In the '70s & '80s I had great success selling Channel Master rebuilt tubes. Not one ever failed under warranty. Channel Master also had B & C grade tubes available that I would install in the trade ins for resale. Lower grade tubes simply meant more defects were permitted in the focal area of the picture.
