Welcome Brian,
There is well-rounded experience here with just about anything electronic (or mechanical) you may come across. Among many TVs, my only European TV is a '74 Saba color that was converted to NTSC from new. I always look forward to any new post from the UK in International Televisions " forum here on VK. Someone posted a picture of a 1965 RCA 21" round CRT color converted to PAL, simply awesome. Having visited Britain in 1976 about the time I was getting very interested in the physics of TV reception, I noticed all the with BBC1-2, ITV and TV4 sets with only 4-6 presets. Set-top yagi antennas and others for UHF hanging off walls and chimneys. Some places in the north and midlands did not even get the last two channels, and kind of snowy if I recall correctly. Being from a rural area of the US, I became aware of UHF reception challenges as well. That collection is ALL of interest and I wish good luck to you as a fellow curator!
