Belts that don't melt
Where can you get decent belts now? The PRB and EVG small square (or round) belts I bought several years ago are turning to mush in the original bags.
If there is a good deal for a variety pack in 0.25" increments, Im in. I have a many players that need belts and hate to junk them.

No leads here or wrong forum but I will do a multi-belt order to V-M in Tape recorder belts, shows a good selection.
https://www.thevoiceofmusic.com/cata..._rec_belts.asp I think the days of using part numbers from schematics and specialty universal-fit parts makers is over. The main motivation is RCA-Hitachi video equipment for Dave A., who has entrusted me with a repair. A belt, 100% sure will fix everything.

The only advice I can give is to look for silicone belts instead of rubber. Rubber that doesn't melt in 10-30 years is a rare beast. Silicone doesn't turn to goo but eventually snaps.

I just ordered a few belts from V-M. I hope they are better than the mush I got before.
Ill see what shows up but its clear my shop in the garage-barn is not an ideal environment.
