Mystery color emerson TV seen in commercial on Food channel.

This caught my eye right away, and I know the video on it it real because when I freeze it, I can see interlacing, something I NEVER see normally!

perhaps it's been colorized. My system records and plays back in 1080p. I played that back frame by frame and did a capture. the hands are clearly showing interlacing, who go that far to fake that? also the set is at one angle but the picture on the screen is at another and letter-boxed, I'm seeing no blues or greens , so who knows what the did, My guess, they took a BW shot and did a cheap color add.

Modern video editing software has plugins that can put a very realistic image on any unlit TV screen. They have settings for interlacing, various types of interference, geometry problems, even reflections of the image on bezels. For a few years now production companies have stopped caring if old sets can make a picture or not because they don't ever turn them on.
