Does anyone have information on translating the Zenith part number suffix letters? For example various model numbers would end with:
  • E/EU/R/RU/W/WU
  • R/RU/W/WU
  • HPU/HU/MU/RU/WU/XU
  • EUD/HUD/WUD

I seem to have read U stood for having UHF tuning, I suspect the other letters stood for cabinet style or color, etc.

Remote and HiFi tone controls were optional equipment too. I suspect that is what R and H stand for, but haven't tried to decode the model suffixes to know.
