Describe the lines more clearly or link to a picture of them. Are they moving or stationary? Sharp or blurry? Where are they on the screen and which direction do they go in (vertical, horizontal, diagonal)? Straight or squiggly?

Do the DVD player and cable box use the same kind of input or different?
