Need Help Finding Capacitor
I'm looking for the capacitor in the attached pic. The SM notes it as 600PF 2kV and the markings on it are 600K, which I assume is 600PF.
Anyway, I went to Mouser, but the only 600PF capacitors they have are either 1kV or 14kV, there isn't an option for 2kV unless I go up to to 680pF or down to 580pF. Searching other sites also shows no 2kV. The only place that I found them is on a site I've used before for Zenith parts, but I'm wanting to get them from Mouser as I'm creating an order for other parts as well. I need 3 of them. Thanks!

Where is it in the circuit? The value may not be critical depending on the application.

There are three locations, but the most critical is on the horizontal output transistor. The other 2 are in the horizontal circuit in hopes of eliminating the ringing.

If the value is critical, you could use two 1200pF in series.

You could probably go higher in voltage rating if the component package isn't excessively large for where it needs to live.
Voltage rating on a capacitor is basically the highest voltage you can apply across it and expect it to live. Higher voltage rating than stock usually means less failure prone than stock, though with electrolytics more than doubling the voltage can lead to the cap dielectric not staying formed up.

![]() I think this is a Zenith "special" as the SM doesn't have the usual part numbers for other suppliers like it does for just about all other capacitors. It has their part number and I've found a few OEM and will get them. I'm also having issues finding the diodes I need on Mouser. When I put in the part and values, it shows me exactly what I need, but mouser only sells them in quantities of 5000, so that's out. I did find on ebay a seller with 10 ECG506 for 16.95 delivered. I really only want to do this once, so I'm looking for quality components.

I am trying to figure out how to remove the remote control board without removing the entire front panel worth of controls, tuner motor, etc. While I was trying to figure it out, I remembered I still need to order the replacement capacitor(s). The troubleshooting PDF I have say's it's a .01uf/100V and so does the SM, but the part numbers in the SM all lead me to 1000V capacitors. Is this an error in the SM, or did they mean for replacements to be a higher voltage?
Once I figure out how to remove the board with the least amount of effort or factory wire routing disturbance, I will be able to verify the value, but I'm assuming that board has nowhere near that much running through. Going to order up some of the 100V anyway. I need C213 and C214 in the chart.
