21FJP22 Question
I think I've asked this question before, but I can't seem to recall the answer. I have an Admiral roundie which has a bad picture tube. I would like to recharge it, but the bakelite base is all cracked. When the tube is like that, is there any chance the tube could implode when I try to remove the socket?

the only chance it could implode is to drop it on its face, by the way if your going to rejuvenate the tube, lay the set face down and then restore it, Ive found that over the years when you use a machine such as the bk 467, the particles fall aware from the gun assembly and land harmlessly in the glass bell
