need a CTC-5 photofact

Im working on restoring a CTC-5 chassis and would really like to have a sams photofact rather than the factory service information. Id be willing to give a few $ + shipping for anyone who would be willing to let me borrow it for a few weeks.

Thanks-Doug

public library

I don't know about your area, but here in northern Indiana we can go to the public library, they have a complete set of sams, you can't take them home but you can make copies in the library.

Hey Doug,

Also depends on which CTC-5 chassis you're working on. The "Special" and "Super" series is Sams 353.
The "Deluxe" series chassis is Sams 358. I'm sure you know the series name, in gold script, is on the front lower right of the cabinet.

Steve,

this was the set that was on ebay back in june of 05. its the "lockhaven" super series. It was a big topic here on AK when it was up on ebay "Awesome color roundie on ebay" was the name of the thread. Its in a blonde cabinet and is in near mint condition, atleast the chassis is as I currently have it. the guy who has it saw that I was selling a bunch of TV's that I repaired and asked if I could work on this set. It has color problems and also needs to be recapped. "zenith1935" from ebay is the current owner. All he sent me was the chassis and hardware so I can set it up on a test jig. Any info is greatly appriciated.

Doug I think I can send you those out of my collection at home, let me go out to the barn and try and locate them. Just PM me with your address and I'll try and send them out soon, just send back when you feel like it.

Chad,

Glad you can help Doug out with the info. I only have the Sams folder for the Deluxe series chassis which is quite different.
