Build your own degaussing coil

The 21AXP22 datasheet recommends making a degaussing coil out of 425 turns of #20 enamel wire wound 12 inches in diameter powered by 115VAC.
(this is about 1300 feet).

You can wrap the coil in insulating tape and install a momentary pushbutton on/off switch in series with the line cord for ease of use.
