Boy is that ever the $64 question. And even better, how do I know what I photographed is actually 1953 NTSC color.

We're working on that and other similar questions and expect to have some definitive answers and demonstrations at the 2007 ETF convention.

To answer your question, I checked the page on four CRT and one LCD display, and it does give the flavor of the color. It seems best on monitors with a brighter picture. For example, do you see the green graphic as well as the green playing field in the second picture? The CT-100 showed both. But not all the monitors did.

Sorry if I go a bit off-topic.. But speaking of the ETF convention, I assume the date for 2007 is fixed? Maybe I'm the only one who cares, but it would be great if it was the same weekend as the Arnold Classic in Columbus OH.

Pete, It does not appear that Big Bird made it through Thanksgiving. A friend sent this to me for a Thanksgiving card. It would be safe to say that nobody is safe from a sick mind.

As I venture off topic again, and for the last time, in this thread. I kind of thought the cartoon was pretty funny. For those old enough to remember, it has the touch of Charles Addams, creator of the Addams'Family, and other sinister New Yorker Magazine cartoons. Personally, I think Big Bird might have been a lab experiment gone terribly wrong.
