Retrace hash with DVD player?
Im trying to figure out how to be able to use my dvd player with my old Zenith sets. With most purchased dvds I get retrace lines in the upper left side of the picture.
As I understand it this is due to copyright protection info that is in the retrace. I have tried different vcrs and rf modulators to convert the video to ch3. On some the contrast fades in and out as well as the lines. It does it the worst on the zeniths. One of my rcas not at all and one a little. Has anyone found a way to convert dvds to ch3 without the lines? Last edited by ctc17; 08-01-2009 at 01:37 PM.
