FREE RCA roundie combo: MPLS CL

It'd be nice for someone to snag this before it gets fishtanked (or worse): http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hn...012118562.html

Maybe I'm wrong, but I could have sworn this one has been posted before...

Edina, the richest neighborhood in the cities when that tv was new. Probably well taken care of.

Dig that wood panelling!! Nice set!! If I wasn't 1500 miles away, I'd consider it. It must have a remote cpability, as the controls for the TV are not visable.

I like the cabinet design very much. I like that the controls are hidden but am surprised no channel indicator is displayed. I suspect buyers did not like that even though it makes the set look better. I think that would be a '64 CTC-16 with the optional more modern control panel of that year under the lid. Does anybody know if that sort of cabinet design by RCA ever offered a remote? I know they had remotes on the other models but this style with no visible controls looks more expensive to me but I think it was a cheaper line at that time?

Awww, man....Bad "Cadillac", but that cabinet looks mint. Of course, it's 1500 miles away from me, too...Those were "Bucks Up" items when new, down here in hardscrabble hillbilly land, they were rarely-if ever-seen.
