1953 motorola cardboard console "playhouse" tv

You've got to wonder how many of these survived...still it is rather pricey.

Buy it now and you can put on your own warped Beany & Cecil puppet shows for the neighborhood kiddies and scar them for life!

I love the sellers "period correct" Farrah picture!,she was a huge star in the 50's until that scandal with a young Soupy Sales ruined her career!

That thing is in amazing shape considering its age. Reminds me of the ads you'd see in comics from the early 50s selling you a "10' submarine for 2.99!" and you would ultimately be sent a similar cardboard playhouse.

Definitely later than 53, probably more like 58...unless the designers of the real sets took their cues from the ones who made the toys.

Cool item. The original owner obviously didn't have children, or that playhouse would have been loved to death decades ago.
