[Slavaged] 1981 Sanyo Betacord Portable VPR 4800

I've been searching for an old Beta machine for sometime and tonight I found something rather interesting, well i was digging through the plastic crap at the recycling depot. It's a SANYO Betacord Portable Player Model VPR 4800 from 1981 that retailed for $795.00. I can't seem to find a heck of a lot of information on these machines, apparently they were popular among video store rentals in the hey day for movie nights. I'm curious if it came in one of those black hard shell cases It even came with the original battery. I was wondering where the power supply was, it looks like there's a terminal in the back for TUNER/DC Power? there's also a Camera hookup on the side to hook up a beta camcorder. The unit looks well made and a little heavy If i get it working i wouldn't be surprised if the belts have turned to goo.
