HDMI Generator

If you've looked at any HDMI generators, you'll find they are very pricey.
Here is an economical alternative. It uses a VGA tester and a VGA to HDMI converter. Each is about $6.99 on Ebay. Beware, there are also HDMI to VGA converters there as well. And they are not bi-directional. Both use a +5 volt supply. You will also need a short VGA jumper male to male.
