RCA Roundie combo acquired.

Today, I purchased an RCA roundie combo, for the princely sum of $2.00. It looks like a ctc15 or 16, and I believe the CRT is intact, other than a minor cataract(I was a little worried, as the cap was loose, and pushed in, but I pulled the back back a little, and the CRT looks to be intact, at least on the neck, and pushing on the cap I feel solid resistance, not something moving back and forth, as would be, if the CRT was broken). It is in a cabinet, like the one on EBAY a couple of years ago, that was sold mainly for the CRT, showing a HI-ite tube in it.The cabinet is in pretty good condition, overall.

The stereo portion, is a hybrid, but it was dead, for some reason. As for the TV, I turned it on, and after more than a minute, all I saw were tube filaments, so I pushed the breaker, and something near the tranny made a buzzing noise, and sparked, as well as something near the HV cage(maybe a fly)?then, the breaker tripped again. The way I figure, if I get a usuable CRT, I am way ahead, for the price I paid. I will pick it up, in a couple of weeks, after the Hamfest, and next Estes auction.I did not really have room for it, but I'll figure that part out later!!

At the same house, there is a Zenith combo, ChromacolorII, looks like space command(it had zoom), and it was a model #- sj-something, makes it around a '78 model or such. I do not really have room or desire for it, so I will speak more about it, in the Rectangular color section, in case someone else does!!
