In the last few hours of the last day, it was still there at 1/2 off, so I went for it. I really don't need/want the set, (I already have a blonde halo-light, and I usually don't go for sets with doors) but I didn't like the idea of it hitting the dumpster, or being gutted for the attractive cabinet.

Since it was pretty much a goner anyways, I fired it up in my garage. It came on for a few seconds and blew a LV rectifier (5U4). I pulled one from my tube box and tried again. This time it came one with a raster. After a few adjustments and letting it run for a while, it was making a pretty good picture. Also found out it has UHF!

The problem is, I don't really want/need this set! My basement is full! What to do?

Here are a few pictures.

It got a scratch on the way up the stairs

How often do you come to cleveland?
