The numbers are nearly always *MFD @ *VOLTS
the symbol after that tells you which leg it is.

i.e 100 10 D would be 100 MFD @ 10 Volts and the terminal marked with a D on the bottom.

If you look at the bottom of the cap there will be corresponding markings next to the legs of the capacitor.

They will either be stamped in the phenolic base or there will be small cutouts right next to the leg.

The marks on a 4 section cap are usually a D, a triangle, a square and one with no marking at all.
