Couple of strange things here... No "Automatic Radio" decal in the normal position under the tube, or anywhere else that I can see... The tag under the chassis stamped number was cut in half BEFORE it was applied... no real tube chart. Could there have been a deliberate attempt on the part of the mfg. to disguise the set for some reason? Perhaps the "X" in the model number stood for "experimental", and the concept was dropped before many were made?
